Hemming Village in Rexburg is gearing up for its annual Halloween festivities.
Tomorrow from Noon to 4 p.m. Hemming Village will hold its annual Hocus Pocus Halloween Festival. The theme this year is "Disney and Star Wars."
Many employees of Hemming Village will be at the event dressed as Star Wars and Disney characters.
The Star Wars characters are even planning a show.
“They have choreographed some fight scene and different things like that with light sabers,” said Cami Wills, a co-director of the event.
In addition to the live action fights, a full-sized X-Wing fighter will also be at the event with an X-Wing fighter pilot available to take pictures with.
There will also be free hay rides, face painting, fun carnival games and a few creepy crawlies.
“We have snakes and spiders that the kids get to touch and see,” said Dani Wills, co-director of the event.
In keeping up with the name of the festival “Hocus Pocus,” the Sanderson Sisters will be at the event as well.
The Sanderson Sisters will perform songs from the movie “Hocus Pocus” and tell spooky stories.
A song or a story will be told at the top of every hour.
A costume parade is happening at 3 p.m. and at the end of the parade the costume contest will happen with cash prizes to the top three winners.
