Looking for the perfect gift for your Valentine? The BYU-Idaho Greenhouse has you covered. The greenhouse is having its Valentine Sale in the Manwaring Center this whole week until Friday. You can find them selling flowers and different plants from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“So right now, we are selling a lot of flowering potted plants, especially for Valentine’s Day because they are really perfect gifts,” said Lauren Croft, the manager of the Greenhouse. “We have got mini roses, calla lilies, hydrangeas, gerbera daisies, and just a whole bunch of beautiful color. We also sell our foliage plants which are all really great to have as house plants.”

Students help run the greenhouse for different classes with the assistance of teachers and instructors.

“We range from anywhere from to $2.50 to $20, which is kind of our bigger plants like calla lilies or hydrangeas,” said Karli Simkins, another manager at the Greenhouse. “It ranges all over the place. We have some really great foliage’s $4.99 and it’s a really great package to give to someone special.”

The Greenhouse has other events that are coming up, like a do-it-yourself herb night and a succulent plant night. These events have you pay at the door where you get a pot and can pick whatever herbs or succulents you want.

“So, it’s about $15 just at the door, it’s a lot of fun,” said Simkins. “You get to come in and pick your own pot. You get to pick what succulents you want to put into it. You get to put it all together all yourself it’s a lot of fun being able to come with your friends, your roommates, your husband, and your spouse. It’s a lot of fun.”
