Matthew Babcock is an English Department faculty member at BYU-Idaho. He has four published books in his name and next month, he’ll have five.
Four Tales of Troubled Love is a novella composed of four short stories.
“It’s four novellas about different love relationships that become strained or stressed and what the characters do through to try to save their relationships,” Babcock said.
Babcock teaches creative writing and fiction writing classes and said his inspiration comes from teaching. He encourages his students to work toward publishing their writings.
Babcock began writing the first piece for the novella in 2003. Listen to a sneak peek of the book below.
Four Tales of Troubled Love will be available in stores and online January 25. You can preorder the book on harvardsqaureeditions.org
