BYU-Idaho Radio · BYU-Idaho offers workshops on dating

Dating in college can be a confusing experience. Knowing when to commit to a romantic relationship or when to be friends can be a choice with many variables. BYU-Idaho has a workshop designed to help students navigate dating and ultimately create a healthy relationship that will lead to marriage.

Students prepare lessons and then run these workshops in the afternoon, teaching their peers lessons based on the book “How to Avoid Falling in Love with a Jerk” by John Van Epp.

"I would honestly say that it has helped me in my marriage too, but with dating, it helped me take the steps in a timely manner that allowed me to establish a real connection with my spouse," said Jessica Coleman, who commented on how the class helped her while dating her husband.
