An annual market is returning after a two-year pandemic hiatus.

Beaux Cadeaux is an annual artisan market event hosted by The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho. It showcases some of the best artisans in Idaho and is a special holiday shopping opportunity for people who are looking for beautiful, one-of-a-kind gifts. That's why the market is called Beaux Cadeaux, which means "beautiful gifts."

This is Beaux Cadeaux's 14th year. It was canceled for the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Miyai Abe Griggs, the executive director of The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho, listed some of the vendors visitors can expect to see at the market.

“We have some jewelers, some silversmiths, some woodworkers, some jam people, our soap lady,” she said, “so just a good variety, I think.”

Griggs says Beaux Cadeaux is like family.

“I think it’s just really the people that make it special,” she said.

Beaux Cadeaux will be open to the public at The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in Idaho Falls from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. this Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Homemade soup will be provided courtesy of Ida Hardcastle and friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., along with bread donated by Great Harvest Bread Company.
