At BYU-Idaho we understand that students are being impacted financially due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We want to ensure that our students are aware that the Financial Aid Office is available to answer questions regarding options for student aid as a result of current circumstances. These options may include federal grants/loans, university need-based aid, or other emergency assistance.
Many students have already completed the application process for aid and are expecting previously awarded grants for Spring Semester based on their enrollment. In most cases it may not be necessary for these students to take any additional action.
If you feel that your financial circumstances merit reconsideration for Spring Semester 2020, please contact the Financial Aid Office through email at email@example.com or by phone at (208) 496-1411.
Also, it is not too late to begin planning for the upcoming academic year. The Financial Aid Office has reopened the 2020/2021 Thomas E. Ricks Grant Application. Students experiencing financial need are encouraged to complete the Thomas E. Ricks Grant Application at go.byui.edu/aid in conjunction with the 2020/2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. If you have already completed the Thomas E. Ricks Grant Application and FAFSA, you do not need to recomplete these applications.
As mentioned above, any assistance needed from the Financial Aid Office can be received through email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (208) 496-1411.
