Dr. Wolford stands next to organ.

REXBURG, Idaho- The 13th annual Brigham Young University-Idaho Organ Festival will honor the life and music of Dr. Darwin Wolford, who was director of organ studies at Ricks College/BYU-Idaho for 39 years.

The festival will take place on Thursday, November 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Barrus Concert Hall of the Eliza R. Snow Center for the Performing Arts at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg. The event is free and open to the public.

Dr. Wolford left a legacy of inspired organ teaching during his years of service at the university, and together with his wife Julie, was instrumental in bringing the Ruffatti pipe organ to campus. In honor of his eightieth birthday, current students, faculty, and alumni will present a concert of music that was either written, arranged, or edited for organ solo by Dr. Wolford.
