Two concerts featuring different Latter-day Saint musicians will be held during Education Week at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg. Singer-songwriters Hilary Weeks and Nik Day will team up for an uplifting evening of spiritual music on Friday, July 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium.
Over the past 18 years Weeks has released 10 solo albums. Her most recent releases "Every Step" and "Say Love" both charted on the Christian Billboard Charts.
Since his days at BYU-Idaho where he was a popular performer, Day has continued his career writing music on many LDS Church projects. The Idaho Falls native has recently released a new CD entitled "Miracle" through Shadow Mountain Records.
Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for Education Week participants and BYU-Idaho students. Tickets can be purchased at the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office, by calling 496-3170 or online at tickets.byui.edu.
