BYU-Idaho plans to fully open Fall Semester 2021 for in-person instruction. As always, the university’s top priority is the health and safety of students and the entire campus community. We will continue to follow recommended health and safety protocols as advised by local public health officials. Campus-wide sanitation, limited physical distancing, and mask requirements will remain in place to start the semester. These requirements may be modified as the semester progresses.

Fall registration will begin on Monday, June 28. Further information and updates about fall registration, including priority registration dates, will be sent to BYU-Idaho students through email and text.

We remind students that, in most instances, the last day to cancel a housing contract for fall semester is July 11, 2021. After July 11, students may be responsible to pay the full amount of the contract or sell the contract to another eligible student. Students who are unsure how campus plans and registration will affect their decision to attend BYU-Idaho in person are advised to delay signing a housing contract until their decision to attend is final. Students who have already signed a contract are encouraged to carefully review it for specific deadlines and other relevant information.

Additional information and future updates will be posted on both the COVID-19 Updates and Registration webpages as soon as further decisions are made.

BYU-Idaho looks forward to fall semester.
