This article provides instructions for basic troubleshooting techniques in Exchange on Windows 8.

If the Exchange Account Doesn't Appear When You Open the Application

1. Click on Connecting to a service.

2. Click on Exchange.

3. Click Show more details.

4. In the pop-up window that appears, enter this information:

  1. In Email Address: Enter your BYU-Idaho email address.
  2. In Server Address: Enter
  3. In Domain: Enter BYUI.
  4. In Username: Enter your BYU-Idaho username with
  5. In Password: Your BYU-Idaho account password.

5. After entering the above information in the above fields, click Connect.

6. Finish choosing your preferred settings and allow the mail app to sync to your email account. It may take a few moments.
