BACHELORS OF SCIENCE DEGREE WITH A MAJOR IN Occupation Safety and Health

Program Description: 

Students are trained in the practice of anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of safety and health hazards found in the work environment. They will be prepared to enter business and industry as safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental professionals. Students are also prepared for graduate programs in industrial hygiene and safety.

About the Curriculum:   

A major in Occupational Safety and Health will include courses on Chemistry, Construction, Health Science and more. This major will require students to take several electives, foundations, and core classes that add up to a minimum of 120 credits. 

Students wishing to work in Occupational Safety and Health are recommended to earn a full bachelors degree for more secure job placement. For those who cannot achieve a bachelors, certificates, concentrations, and minors are also offered.
