Technology Services

At the Faculty Technology Center, we are pleased to offer expert audio/video conversion services. We can convert most analog formats, such as VHS, mini-DV, 8mm tapes, cassette tapes, and vinyl records to digital media. We also offer conversions for slides and negative images.

We have talented graphic designers, illustrators, and videographers in-house that are ready and willing to help you create content for your courses. Ask us about banner images and instructional animations.

The Photo Services Department offers professional photography services to BYU-Idaho faculty, students, and staff. Come see them for passport photos, employee photos, professional portraits, art photography, and much, much, more. Faculty and staff can also request videography services for campus classes and events.

The Ed Tech lab is an on-campus computer lab/classroom which supports the Computer Basics classes (GS 107). Lab assistants are present during open hours to assist students with completing their assignments and provide remediation. The Technology Competency Assessment (TCA) is proctored by the lab assistants here.
