  • Focus will be on statements made by latter-day prophets and apostles regarding sealing(s) placed upon faithful parents and how these sealing(s) reach out to save wayward children.

  • For He Is Full of Grace and Truth (Part 1)

  • This class will center on the part of Lehi’s discourse, to his son Jacob, as recorded in 2 Nephi 2:5-13. The law of which he spoke will be addressed together with a review of the ends, or demands, of the law; a discussion regarding the power by, and manner in, which Jesus Christ answered the ends of the law; a review of the opposition in all things central to the law; and a review of the ends, or demands, of the atonement and how they were likewise answered by Christ.

  • Developing the doctrine of moral agency and why our beliefs concerning agency matter in the “evil day”.

  • The Parable of the Lost Sheep (Part 1)

  • In part one of this class, we will review the parable of the Lost Sheep as recorded in Luke 15:1-7 including the various symbols presented in the parable. The Lost Sheep will be presented as the one which each of us should desire. In part two of this class, we will review the ancient tithe, the role that the sons of Levi played in the collection of the tithe, and the latter-day duties of those who “become the sons of Moses and of Aaron”. We will fold the parable of the Lost Sheep into events that culminated in the dedication of the Kirtland.
