Riley Hall grew up working on his family’s dairy farm in Rigby, Idaho, which gave him a lot of motivation to go to college. He enrolled at Ricks College in 1998 and got a job he loved: working in the Admissions Office giving tours of campus to prospective students. When he returned from the Brazil Maceio mission, he found himself a student at the new BYU-Idaho, where he continued working in the Admissions Office until his graduation with a degree in Communication in 2004.
After working as a marketing consultant, Riley finished a master’s degree in Public Relations from Montana State University-Billings and returned to BYU-Idaho to work full time in the Admissions Office, where he has been for the last thirteen years.
Currently, Brother Hall serves in the church as a first counselor in the bishopric of his ward. He and his wonderful wife, Sarah, have six children.
