Biography:

Kimberly Thueson was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree from National University, both in English. She is currently completing her PhD in Educational Psychology at Capella University. She has been employed at BYU-Idaho since 2000, when she began teaching English part-time. In 2008, she started teaching online, and in 2011, she began working in online administration. 

Kimberly and her husband live in St. Anthony, Idaho, and have a combined family of four daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, and attending plays, musicals, and cultural events, and she has a passion for learning, both secularly and spiritually. Kimberly also loves gathering with her family and friends. She has served several callings in the Church, including Relief Society president, counselor in the Young Women and Primary presidencies, and Gospel Doctrine teacher.
