Past Projects
COSTUME CRAFTS SUPERVISOR - Temple Square Visitor's Center renovation, Salt Lake City, Utah, 2001. Dyed and supervised the weaving of fabrics representing Pre-Columbian American textiles, and ancient Middle-Eastern textiles, and 19/c, American textiles. Also handcrafted shoes, sandals and other leather accessories for the above periods to be fitted on life size foam latex mannequins. Also helped style wigs and beards on the mannequins.
Biography
A Ricks College alumnus, Richard J. Clifford received his MFA in Theatre Design and Technology from BYU in 2002. Prior to joining the faculty at BYU-Idaho in (2004) he worked as a free-lance designer for stage, television and film. He has appeared as an actor in dozens of stage productions, films and television appearances (imdb page). He taught as an adjunct faculty at BYU in Provo and as a full time faculty at Salt Lake Community College.
He has served as department chair since 2009
