Mac and Nadine

Elder and Sister McIntire have lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, for almost 30 years. She is from Spokane, Washington, and he is from Evanston, Wyoming. They met at an evening Institute of Religion class in Spokane while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force at Fairchild AFB. They were sealed in the Logan Temple and celebrated their 45th anniversary in November 2018. They have one son, who is deceased.
A graduate of BYU, Elder McIntire owns a management consulting company where he travels extensively helping organizations and people achieve their highest potential. Because of his numerous contacts within businesses, he feels the BYU-Idaho Internship Service Mission is tailor-made for him. He has wanted to serve a mission since he became active in the Church in 1972 while in the military. In addition to his consulting work, he has worked extensively with the Boy Scouts of America, having served in positions at the unit, district, and council level. He also has served in several community emergency response service organization. He currently serves as the president of a homeowner’s association.
His Church callings include having served on a stake high council, as a stake young men president, a counselor in two bishoprics, a counselor in a Cambodian branch presidency, a high priest group leader, an elders quorum president five times, a gospel doctrine instructor four times, a seminary teacher three times, a ward young men president twice, and a counselor in a district mission presidency in Korea, only once. His favorite calling has been as a Scoutmaster.
Sister McIntire is a homemaker who keeps very busy ministering to the sick, needy, and widows within her stake, ward, and neighborhood. Her Church callings include stake relief society president, ward relief society president and counselor, ward young women president and counselor, ward primary president and counselor, gospel doctrine instructor, seminary teacher, and numerous other callings within the auxiliaries of the Church. Her preferred job is stimulating the economy by shopping. Both she and Elder McIntire like to travel, explore new places, go camping, watch movies, and read good books.
Elder and Sister McIntire served for four years as volunteers with the LDS-BSA Relationships office in Salt Lake City. They currently serve together as supervisors of the Las Vegas West Institute of Religion. They are now excited to also work together as BYU-Idaho Internship Service Missionaries.
