For your information, the following are all of the available BYU-Idaho Science Education Majors
- Biology Education (800) - This major endorses you to teach High School Biology and Middle School Life Science (i.e. grades 6-12). This endorsement would more than likely result in employment at a high school in a rural or urban/suburban district where you would be teaching primarily the general Biology course.
- Biology Education Composite (805) -
- Chemistry Education (810) - This major endorses you to teach High School Chemistry. This endorsement would more than likely result in employment at a high school in a rural or urban/suburban district where you would be teaching primarily the general Chemistry course.
- Earth Science Education (840) - This major endorses you to teach High School Geology and Middle School Earth Science (i.e. grades 6-12). The focus is on general geology, astronomy, and weather. It would more than likely result in employment at a high school in a rural or urban/suburban district where you would be teaching primarily a general Geology or Astronomy course.
- Physics Education (870) - This major endorses you to teach High School Physics. This endorsement would more than likely result in employment at a high school in a rural or urban/suburban district where you would be teaching primarily the general Physics course.
