The Rexburg Idaho Temple

The Rexburg Idaho Temple was announced on December 20, 2003. The groundbreaking ceremony was held July 30, 2005 and the dedication was held February 10, 2008. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has 125 temples in operation and 11 under construction. Until its completion, BYU-Idaho was the only church owned campus that did not have a temple located adjacent to it. The Rexburg Temple is the third temple in Idaho with a fourth underway in Twin Falls.
