The Smith Quad is viewed from the Joseph Fielding Smith Building. The Manwaring Student Center (top left) is undergoing a construction project that will nearly double the size of the building. The David O. McKay Library (behind trees on the right), will be joined to the Manwaring center by an elevated, covered walkway. A commemorative statue (center right) marks the center of the Quad. On clear days, the Menan Buttes are visible in the background above the McKay Library.
