Brother Williams spent several years attending trade school and pursuing a career in the building trades before coming to work at Ricks College seventeen years ago. He has worked in various positions here on campus, and is currently the Facilities Director of Maintenance and Operations. Brother Williams has served as a missionary in the Costa Rica San Jose mission, as a scoutmaster, Sunday School president, elder's quorum president, and is currently the bishop of the Plano ward. He and his wife, Katie, met at Ricks College while attending a Book of Mormon class taught by Brother Randy Hayes. Next month they will celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary. They are the parents of five children; their two oldest twin sons are BYU-Idaho students.

panish-speaking mission to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He studied mechanical engineering and aerospace studies at BYU, where he met the love of his life, Cheryl Lott. Bill received a commission in the United States Air Force in December 1994. During his time in the Air Force, Bill flew the F-16 fighter and B-2 bomber. He served as both a flight leader and mission commander, logging combat time in both aircraft, including a 35.5 hour non-stop combat mission from Missouri to Iraq and back during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Bill attended the Harvard Business School, where he received a Master in Business Administration degree in 2006. He came to BYU-Idaho after working for several years in the medical device industry as a business manager. Bill and Cheryl are the parents of six children. Their oldest child, Kaiti, is a freshman at BYU-Idaho. Bill’s favorite church callings have been teaching Primary and youth Sunday School. He loves to teach and to cook.
