Information Desks

University Relations hosts at the Information Desks welcome visitors to campus along with offering information for students and employees. The Kimball Building desk is open during normal business hours. The  Manwaring Center Information Desk has extended hours and also operates the Lost & Found services.

Getting around campus

This is a season of construction and growth at BYU-Idaho. Please plan your routing carefully. 

Key: Blue = Manwaring Center construction. Yellow = restricted access for construction only.

MC routing and elevator access

The elevator by the MC Information Desk is open; however there is not a direct connection between the first and third levels of the building. Please see instructions below.

Key: Blue = construction zone. Yellow & Green = limited access, see Event Services. Pink = open areas (University Store, Crossroads, etc.).)

To go from the first floor to the second, take the (middle) elevator -- located at the southeast corner across from room 179 -- up to the third floor, go to the end of the hall by the fireplace and take the elevator back down to the second floor.

To go from the second floor to the first floor, please take the elevator to the third floor, go across the third floor to the middle elevator (adjacent to room 395), and then down to the first floor.  

To go from the third floor to the first floor, use the middle elevator (adjacent to room 395) to go directly to the first floor; this elevator does not stop on the second floor.

To go from the third floor to the second floor, use the elevator at the end of the hall by the fireplace.

The temporary ADA route that went through the kitchen is now closed to the public.
