Frequently Asked Questions
-
How can I find a tutor for a particular class?
If you need a Math tutor, go to the Academic Learning desk, MCK 272., 2nd floor, East Wing.
For all other tutors, sign in to TutorTrac under Student Services or on the Main Directory. Log in with your student User name and PIN. Click on Make Appointment at the top of the page. Select the class for which you need a tutor and click search. Then select the available times that work best for you.
-
When I looked for a tutor on the TutorTrac System, no tutors appeared.
This means that we currently do not have any available tutors for your class. Contact the Academic Learning desk at 496-1158. Tell them your name and what class you need a tutor for. As soon as possible, the Tutoring Center will hire a tutor for your class and contact you.
-
Why aren't there any Math tutors?
Since we have many requests for Math tutors, the Math tutors are scheduled through a different system. Simply go to the Academic Learning desk in MCK 272 to be assigned a Math tutor.
-
How do I cancel an appointment?
All appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Log in to TutorTrac. Click on the appointment time you wish to cancel. Near the bottom of the screen there is a black delete button; click it. Your appointment is now canceled. If you have any problems, contact Academic Learning at 496-1158.
