What is Tech de Monterrey?
There are 33 schools in the Tech de Monterrey Educational System. The Monterrey Campus has received both national and international recognition for providing academic excellence to it's students. The Monterrey Campus is the largest and most recongnized campus in the Tech de Monterrrey System. Academic opportunites avaliable are tailored to students looking for an interantional experience in Mexico for a serester or for a full year. From learning Spaish and Mexican culture to working with a company in Monterrey or taking regular university courses in English, you will find a program that is perfect for your study abroad experience.

Academic Opportunites
At Tech de Monterrey Certificate programs are offered. The Certificate programs are undergraduate programs and experience. They are offered in such subjects as Audiovisual Media Production, Latin American Studies, Construction Management, Polictial Science and many other programs. These certificate programs are 16 weeks long and are open to all students with a minimum of 5 courses per semister. Five courses is equal to aporximently 15 credits.
Internships
While in Mexico you can compleate a Brigham Young University-Idaho approved internship. Reresenitives from Tech de Monterry will work alongside you to help you find an internship.
Housing
There are three options for you houseing at Tech de Monterrey:
1) Live in one of the 17 residence halls either on campus or close by campus. They are not co-ed.
2) Live with a host family in Monterrey. You can get a first hand experince of living in Monterrry as welcoming familes share with you their lifestyle, language and home.
3) Live off campus. You will meet a varity of people with this option because 60% of the student body come from outside of Monterrey. Off campus housing is very abundent too.
Church Life in Monterrey
The Temple in Monterrey Mexico was dedicated in April 2002. There are several stakes and church buildings in the city of Monterrey where you can attend church meetings in English and Spainish. There are also, Institue classes for those who are interested in attending.
