British Literary Pilgrimage Meetings

Beginning September 2008, BritLit will have monthly information meetings for pilgrimage members and those who are thinking of applying.  At those meetings we talk about the tour and answer questions. Feel free to contact a director at any time to ask questions.

December 2008-April 2009 Brit Lit has monthly meetings for participants. Off-track students not in Rexburg for these meetings may exercise their initiative to receive meeting information and pilgrimage plans.

Insurance

You must have health insurance to travel with a BYU-Idaho program. You may also want to purchase life insurance and/or a basic travel insurance policy. BYU-Idaho has no funds to compensate for the loss, damage, or theft of luggage and/or personal belongings.

Health

While you aren't required to climb all the cathedral spires, go on every hike, explore every inch of every site-being active is an important element of the tour. Be in shape before we go. Please indicate any health concerns or issues on the Health and Medical History form.

LDS Standards and BYU-Idaho Code of Honor

While traveling on this tour, you are ambassadors of the Church. As such, all participants are required to maintain high standards of honor, integrity, and morality in harmony with the values of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Students will abide by all aspect of the BYU-Idaho Code of Honor including abstinence from coffee, tea, alcohol, and narcotics, as well as following LDS standards of chastity. Participants will dress modestly and appropriately, and will abide by the spirit and letter of the curfew.
