BYU-Idaho now sends transcripts in the secure electronic PDF format through a software service company whom we have partnered with to send secure online transcripts. These transcripts are considered official documents and can be validated because they have been digitally signed and certified by BYU-Idaho. These transcripts when printed will have a similar look to official paper transcripts and will include the Registrar signature and school seal.
When receiving an electronic transcript from BYU-Idaho, open the original email and click on the available link. This will open up the process for you to access the transcript. Click "Next," to receive the passcode. This will be sent to the same email address that you received the transcript in. Once you receive the passcode, enter it into the pass code box. At this point, you may download the digitally signed electronic PDF transcripts. Transcripts must be downloaded within 60 days of receipt.
If you experience problems opening the transcript you may need to try another computer. Specificlly military computers with added security features will be unable to open these transcripts.
Some graduate schools, State Licensing Boards, and application services require an attachment to the transcript with additional information. The most common forms we receive are for Application Services such as CASPA, LSAC, AACOMAS, AMCAS, AADSAS, OTCAS, PHARMCAS. All of these forms should be filled out by the student, and then uploaded to the online request.
