Theatre Summer Camp
(Associated with BYU-Idaho) 

General Information:

Dates: August 3rd-8th
Price: 420 $ (covers cost of food, housing, tee shirt, and personal make up kit)

The only requirement is that the applicant be between the age of 14-18 and is willing to follow the camp code of conduct which is as follows:
·         No alcohol or drugs
·         No physical violence towards yourself or others
·         No inappropriate physical behavior with the other campers (of a sexual nature)
·         Comply with BYU-Idaho's dress and grooming standards 

Camp is staffed by students of BYU-Idaho who all live and up hold BYU-Idaho values and standards. 

This year camp will be hosted by the city of Rexburg, which means we will use the Romance Theatre and the historical Rexburg Tabernacle, both of which are considered historical landmarks for the area. 

Campers live on side in one of the student housing facilitates in the city, this year we will be at North Point or Windsor Manor. These are two of the premier housing complexes in Rexburg.

The camp is a week long and will include:
·         Acting classes
·         Tech classes (design and stage make up)
·         Being cast in a scene directed by one of the staff, which will be performed at the end of the week for friends and family members
·         Musical theatre class
·         Dance class
·         Nightly activities like: a themed murder mystery dinner and a Zombie Prombie 

The spiritual element:
·         Devotionals given by the staff every morning and evening
·         Testimony meeting at the end of the week
·         Spiritual elements will also be integrated into class curriculum as appropriate
