2. Social Studies 70 minutes
3. Science 80 minutes
4. Language Arts and Reading 65 minutes
5. Mathematics 90 minutes
6. Government test -- required only in Idaho for the High School Equivalency Certificate. Not Timed
Breaks: As needed at the conclusion of each exam

 

Test Description This is the high school equivalency exam used by post-secondary educational institutions and employers in lieu of a high school diploma.
Cost $75.00 - $15.00 each for the five core tests listed above. After July 1, 2008 there will also be a $10.00 Idaho registration fee.
Test 6: $15.00 for a Government test required by the State of Idaho for a High School Equivalency Certificate.
Appointments: Call (208) 496-1207 during office hours, 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday
Tests Administered: Mondays - 8:30AM to 3:30PM. Appointments for other days can be made by special arrangement.

ID Requirements: Government issue Photo ID - NO EXCEPTIONS!
Age Requirements: If the test taker is 16, 17, or 18 years of age please bring a letter or signed form from the last school attended verifying that the test taker is no longer enrolled in high school or signatures from parents indicating home schooling.

 


 

Estimated Time of Dismissal: Depends upon starting time, but no later than 5:00 pm. Each exam may be taken on a separate day.
