Qualifications
All peer hopefuls are encouraged to participate in all classes and modules that they can. However this is not mandatory to do so. What is mandatory to do is to take two animal science classes; AS 247 Animal Handling and Behavior and AS 347 Advanced Animal Handling and Behavior. Then you will become eligible to be hired (without pay) as a peer instructor. You will need to fill out a resume and submit it to the hiring board. If chosen you will become a lead peer.
