To all BYU-Idaho students who want to work on campus:
If you hope to work on campus for the first time, please note the following:
1. Federal law requires that you present certain identification documents (ID) to BYU-Idaho's Human Resources (HR) office prior to beginning work. Examples of acceptable ID include a U.S. passport, social security card or birth certificate, which is presented to HR at the time of completing employment paperwork.
2. HR strongly recommends you view the government's list of acceptable ID to ensure you have the appropriate ID for employment purposes.
3. ID is absolutely required prior to beginning work; therefore, please bring acceptable ID (as defined in the link above) with you to school.
4. ID must be original, not photocopies or faxed copies. Also, a laminated social security card is invalid for employment eligibility purposes.
