Summer '08: BYU-Idaho Student Ambassadors Application

As a Student Ambassador you will represent BYU-Idaho in building relationships with prospective students through presentations, email, telephone, tours, and many other activities. We hold a weekly meeting on Wednesdays from 5:00 to 6:30 where you will be trained and work with a committee in preparing events. Every Ambassador must be able to attend this meeting.

Your responsibilities will take up about 5 hours a week. Student Ambassadors is an awesome organization; we work as a team and we work hard to attract those prospective students whose hearts are right and prepare them for an optimal BYU-Idaho experience. It is a great opportunity to serve, meet new people, gain leadership experience, and testify of BYU-Idaho.

You must be in Rexburg for the semester which you are applying.

Leadership

There are several leadership positions in Student Ambassadors; directors, coordinators, and a secretary. In addition to the regular Wednesday meetings, members of the leadership council meet every Monday from 4:30 - 5:30 for area development and training. Ambassadors in these positions can expect to spend 7-10 hours a week in service.

Are you interested in being considered for a leadership position?
