Every semester the SRC sends out an email to all enrolled students inviting them to join. Student Survey Volunteers are a group of over 3,000 students who agree to take surveys of university concerns. The Student Representative Council uses these survey results to guide SRC representatives in their respective administrative councils.
Student Rep Volunteers meet for two hours each week. Student Rep Volunteers use an online database program to sort, summarize, and discuss students' responses to open-ended survey questions. Click here to sign up to be a Student Rep Volunteer!
The Power of Data
The student data empowers the SRC to take a more active role in representing students. As student representatives identify widespread student concerns, they use statistics from the student rep volunteers to show the degree to which certain problems are affecting students. Upon identification of these problems they propose solutions which administration takes into consideration.
