EventsThe student body officers are elected by a plurality vote open to the entire BYU-Idaho student body every two semesters. Elections for the Spring 2013 -Fall 2013.
Important Dates and Times for Candidates

| Friday, March 1 | 5 p.m. | Candidate applications due. Late applications will not be accepted. If you foresee potential issues or questions please contact us now. | |
| Monday, March 4 | Announcement of approved candidates. After the announcement, you may begin forming campaign committees. | ||
| Monday, March 11 | 5 p.m. | All members of the campaign team must be submitted to the Elections Council for approval. . In addition, each member of the campaign team must attend a mandatory campaign committee training in order to participate in Elections Week. | |
| Wednesday, March 13 | 5 p.m. | All poster and flyer designs must be submitted to the Elections Council via email to src@byui.edu. Designs will be reviewed and approved by the Elections Council. | |
| Friday, March 15th | 5 p.m. | Ads will be released to candidates. | |

Social media week begins. |

| Monday, March 25th | Posters can be displayed in approved campus locations. Any posters displayed without approval will be considered to be a direct violation of campaign policy and can result in immediate dismissal. | ||
| Monday, March 25th | 7 a.m. | Active campaign begins. Campaigns begin Monday, March 25 at 7 a.m. and ends Friday, March 29 at 4:30 p.m. |
