Something Unique about Yourself

I have attended the MTC longer than any missionary in the world! I attended the MTC (on Sundays) for 4 years while my parents were serving there. It was such an amazing experience and it really made me love and appreciate missionaries so much more.

 

Favorite thing about BYU-Idaho

Well, it's definitely not the weather, but one of the reasons I love BYU-Idaho is because of the small class sizes. I love getting to know my teachers really well, and having them not just care about my grade in the class, but also about my personal life. I consider my teachers my friends.

What do you like most about being involved with the SRC?

I love being able to practice public relations for a cause that I truly believe in. The SRC does so much for students and aren't recognized for their work most of the time. Why is Facebook available on campus at 5? Why is the Laptop Initiative only highly suggested? Thank you SRC!

 

I am thankful that in my own way I can help publicize their accomplishments and help students understand that they can have a voice.

 

What are your goals for this semester with the SRC?

I want to help bring the SRC out of obscurity. Most students on campus don't know that they have a student body presidency or student body council. Most don't even know what SRC stands for. I will consider this semester a success if I can help a greater percentage of student know and understand what we do.
