Because of limited facilities, students' academic classes and other responsibilities, bringing additional family members, including children, as well as extended visits prior to or after the weekend, are discouraged.

Mothers' Weekend - 2008

General Information

Mothers' Weekend is an event that allows students to invite their mothers to enjoy and celebrate the BYU-Idaho experience and to see for themselves what the Spirit of Ricks is all about! The purpose of Mother's Weekend is to provide an opportunity for students to strengthen relationships with their mothers and honor womanhood, through a series of uplifting events, workshops and other activities. Visiting for a weekend allows parents to become acquainted with the beautiful region of South Eastern Idaho and take advantage of a wide range of opportunities on and off the BYU-Idaho campus.

Registration

There is no formal registration or fees required to visit during the weekend. There are, however, various events you may wish to attend. Tickets for those events should be purchased in advance from the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office. This year, a ticket will also be required for the Saturday morning workshops and should also be purchased in advance at the Ticket Office. Tickets will be available after September 1, 2008.

Tickets will be available for purchase September 1, 2008. They may be purchased on the internet at www.byui.edu/tickets or by phone at 1-800-717-4257 (local calls 496-2230). Tickets may also be purchased at the Ticket Office window located in the Kimball Building. In order to get the student price, the student's net I.D. Number and password will be needed. All tickets are limited. For questions concerning tickets, call the above phone numbers.
