The Library Guide is the link to the Library Student Employment website. It gives a list of the various jobs in the Library including Special Collections jobs.
Special Collections & Archives hires students to help with processing and describing campus records and other local history materials.
Special Collections employees help to accomplish projects specific to campus and local area archives as well as helping library patrons with research needs in the Arthur Porter reading room.
Special Collection employees are chosen from other departments in the library and anyone wanting a job in Special Collections is encouraged to apply for another library department such as circulation first. Exceptions to the hiring policy are made only for students who demonstrate an impressive experience in archival work and an adequate knowledge of the library.
