Welcome! Phi Alpha Theta is a national history honors society. The society promotes "the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians." To join is simple, all you need is 12 history credits, a minimum 3.1 GPA in history and a 3.0 GPA or higher overall. You can have a lifetime membership in the society and recieve a year subscription to the society's academic journal The Historian for only $45. Phi Alpha Theta is a great way to make friends, learn about history, and prepare for graduate school. If you are interested in applying see Brother Yost in room 262M in the Ricks Building.
