Amidst walls covered with posters, screaming swimmers, and the deafening sound of kickboards being hit against the pool deck, the Hawks swim team won the title of Fall 2006 champions.
There were individual victories as well, when Jon Saxton, Will McDavitt and Dan Nelson all swam to new school records in their various races.
The teams also competed for the spirit award — the winner to receive a
T-shirt and a pizza party. The winner, to be announced at the banquet Dec. 5, will be decided based on sportsmanship and show of general team spirit.
