Keeping and eye on tolerance
The beginning of a semester often calls for considerable tolerance, such as tolerance between new roommates, or perhaps tolerance for instructors’ teaching methods or requirements.

Show some sympathy for the panty thief
Mr. Panty Snatcher, I feel for you. For those who haven’t heard, a 40-year-old man from Rigby was arrested at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday for unlawful entry and petty theft. He didn’t steal CD players or XBox controllers—no pearl earrings or diamond tiaras.

Cultural assimilation in California?
Beverly Hills — the rich, famous and Iranian. Iranian?
That may not be entirely correct; it could be Iranian,
Iranian-American
or American.
But why bother with the exact classification? Most recently, it is because an Iranian-American was in the running — sometimes the lead — for mayor of Beverly Hills.
