BYU-Idaho students are displaying their knack for art in the Jacob Spori Building’s Art Gallery. Talent is abundant here at BYU-I. From art and writing (Outlet is coming out soon) to theater and music, get your fix before the semester runs out! Let’s put aside the FA100 sheets and try to appreciate it a bit more, too. make it a prelude to a great new year.

NOTHING BUT NET
Sports Illustrated is helping to fight malaria in Africa by raising money to buy mosquito nets. The nets cost about $10 each, shipping included. Visit UNFoundation.org/malaria to make a donation this Christmas season.

IROLLING STONES
The Stones just ended their U.S. tour, raking in nearly $300 million, reportedly. Perhaps they could use the money to build newer geriatric centers for the morally inept.

STUDENT BODY ELECTIONS
Well, brace yourselves, everyone. It seems as though 10 people have felt the need to enhance our student government. And I’m all for it. But I guess the problem I have is the cookie-cutter platforms most candidates give us. Whatever happened to new ideas or outside-the-box thinking that is actually applicable? Hopefully voters will go for a candidate outside a popularity contest.
