| Have you heard the many rumors about things going on in Rexburg? Look for the new Myth busters each week for the answers to rumors you’ve heard spread around Rexburg.
• The modern image of Santa Claus was created by Coca-Cola. False — according to Snopes.com. Thomas Nast is credited with creating the modern image of Santa Claus, the image which Coca-Cola took and revamped to fit the company. However, Snopes.com does report that Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer was created by Montgomery Ward department stores. Wondering if a rumor you have heard is true?
