Described as “the life blood” of her apartment, Green was studying Theatre and Speech Education. “[She was] the kind of person that everybody wanted to be around,” said Larisa Cousin, a junior from South Jordan, Utah, and a roommate of Green’s. “She loved life.” Lane Williams, a professor in the Communication Department, who taught Green in a public speaking class at the time of her death, shared similar thoughts of Green. “She was bright, involved, well liked and a good example of what BYU-Idaho should be,” Williams said. “I will miss her greatly.” Green, described by Cousin as an outgoing and inspiring person, enjoyed listening to music, dancing and doing anything outdoors, including hiking and four-wheeling. “She made others want to be better and was always striving to do things that made her Heavenly Father happy,” Cousin said. “As an apartment, we’re really going to miss her; she was the best.” Funeral services for Green will be held Dec. 2 in La Habra, Calif.
