Students can have a chance to be on television

Teton Cast & Crew has just recently arrived in Rexburg, and the casting and crew company is looking for talent.

The company can provide a chance for any amateur or professional actors to really strut their stuff, and they hope to recruit some BYU-Idaho students.

“All you need is desire. We’re not looking for exclusive majors,” said Robert Bratt, the production manager of Teton Cast & Crew.

Chris Howell, a former BYU-Idaho student, is already employed with the company. He studied theater and was introduced to Teton Cast & Crew through a recent job fair. A singer and actor, Howell is working on his own music album with Teton Cast & Crew, which has contacts with LDS entertainment corporations such as Excel.

Teton Cast & Crew incorporates filming, acting and singing. Sometimes larger companies, such as Disney and Fox have contacted the business for casting and crew referrals.

This company also adheres to Latter-day Saint morals and ethics.

“I don’t have to worry about my standards. That’s what I really like about this company,” Howell said.

There is also a “Meet Teton Cast & Crew” conference at the company’s office Saturday, October 27, from 6 to 10 p.m.

Casting calls are starting, and there will be actor workshops every Wednesday night and a workshop for film crews every Thursday night. There will be a sign-up fee for workshops.

The address for Teton Cast & Crew is 343 E. 4th N. Street, Suite 209, in Rexburg. They can be contacted at (208) 372-FILM. □
