| Shanghai Quartet comes to BYU-Idaho
Shanghai Quartet will perform Nov. 17 in the Barrus Concert Hall from 7:30-9:30 p.m. The foursome came together in 1983 at the Shanghai Conservatory. These men play the violin, cello and viola in a mix of multicultural discography. They not only perform, but teach as well. In addition to their albums, they serve as the Quartet-in-Residence at Montclair State University in New Jersey. Bust a move at the 50’s Sock Hop Dance BYU-Idaho falls back into the 1950’s with the 50’s Sock Hop Dance this Saturday in the Manwaring Center West Ballroom from 8:30-11:30 p.m. Tickets cost $2 with a student ID card. Students have the option of dressing in 50’s attire. |
