Ricks College coaches take a look at future

While only two weeks remain in over a century of intercollegiate Viking athletics, Ricks College coaches are planning what they will do in those final weeks and more importantly, what they will do for the rest of their lives.
As the nine sports finish up the 2001-2002 season, eight head coaches, with 112 years of combined experience in their Ricks positions, watch and continue to wait while an athletic program that has become a way of life for them tapers away...[more] April 23

Womens rodeo team takes region title during final season

Thursday, Friday and Saturday were the grand finale for the Ricks College Rodeo Club. Ricks, along with participants from 11 other colleges in the intermountain region, put on quite a show for spectators.
There was Bronc-riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and bull riding, along with other festivities.
The womens team won the Rocky Mountain Regional title Thursday with strong showings from Kim Bourne and McKenzie Miller, who placed first and fourth, respectively, in the breakaway event, and Bourne and Tina Van Tassell, placed fifth in team roping...[more] April 23
