Oh, Bother

Even if you love them to pieces, somebody is bound to do something annoying. Maybe it’s just a personality conflict. Whatever the cause, you can deal with people who bother you in a good, constructive way.

First of all, get over yourself. If they said something that hurt your pride, make sure you know their motive before you react. They may not have said it to hurt you.

Don’t loose it when you get annoyed. Blowing up is not going to change anything. Sometimes when you cool down you realize the issue is not a big deal. So keep quiet until you can think about your feelings and what you’re going to do about how you feel.

Try talking to them. This does not solve every situation, but sometimes it’s worth a try.
