Ice Climbing: BYU-I offers chilly adventure

Ice climbing. Not for the weak of heart, the short of breath or the average whiner.

Jason Eddie a senior from North Las Vegas, Nev., a Recreational Leadership major who has ice climbed several times a season for the past few years said, “The people who do this are outgoing — a little bit crazy, but the fun of ice climbing makes it well worth it.”

The ORC sponsors trips to the Teton Canyon where they guide students in ice climbing technique. [read more]
