Student body officers for the Winter 2006 semester have been announced.

Trent Buehler, a junior from Malad, Idaho, will serve as president. Serving as executive vice president is Mathew Burdick, a senior from Sturbridge, Mass. Nephi Price, a junior from Driggs, Idaho, will be administrative vice president.

All three said they feel very blessed to have the chance to serve the student body in this capacity, and they are excited to get the concerns and ideas of the students heard.

“I think that the most exciting part [of serving as administrative vice president] is receiving ideas from other students,” Price said. “There are a lot of good ideas out there.”

Buehler feels the same and also believes that his opponents had some good ideas on their platforms as well. He said he wants to make a list of other candidates’ promises and see if they can also be met.

Buehler, Burdick and Price said they couldn’t wait to start serving. “I’m just really excited for next semester and to help the school on that steady, upward course of BYU-Idaho,” Burdick said.

All three agree that the campaigning experience would have been blessing enough by itself. “I learned a lot about how many great kids there are on campus,” Price said.
