New scholarship for students announced

A new scholarship named in honor of President Heber J. Grant is taking the place of the Leadership/Need Scholarship, which has been discontinued.

Present or future students who have overcome disadvantaged backgrounds in preparing for college can apply for the scholarships.

Applications are not being accepted for students who are starting Winter Semester 2006, but continuing students are encouraged to apply for winter semester.

The deadline is Dec. 1.
