The swimmers and crowd were unified at the all-comers swim meet when faculty, students and team swimmers competed against each other. Motivated by a desire to be competitively festive, swimmers did everything from double-gainer diving and flipper wearing to cross-dressing.

“In athletics we try to involve as many people as we can, this way people who aren’t involved in athletics can see how much fun were having and what the events are all about,” said Jackie Johnson, a junior from Sierra Vista, Ariz., and the student coordinator for the event. [read more]
